Do you accept emergency prescriptions?

  1. Should a prescription be issued outside of the regular repeat medication, let us know and we will send it to you in original packaging to start straight away.
  2. If you need the medication that day, contact us and we will email you the barcode for the urgent prescription.
  3. You can use this barcode at any local pharmacy so they can dispense the medication immediately.
When you need emergency Antibiotics the Same Day:
  1. Alert PillTime care!pilltime.co.uk to expect an urgent prescription. 
  2. We will search for the prescription and provide you with the unique barcode. 
  3. The prescription is pushed back into the cloud-based ‘NHS Spine’. 
  4. Your staff can then take the barcode to any pharmacy and that pharmacy will be able to retrieve the prescription, and dispense the medication right there and then. 
We do not download prescriptions from the ‘NHS Spine’ when we are ‘out of office’ which means the prescription can by downloaded by any pharmacy, at any time ‘out of hours’.
